Overview
- Norton published full technical specifications and UK pricing for the Atlas and Atlas GT on June 11, listing a UK entry price of £8,250.
- Both models share a newly developed 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin with a 270-degree crank that produces about 69 hp and 57.5 Nm, matched to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter and assist-and-slipper clutch.
- The Atlas is set up for light off-road use with a 19-inch front wheel, 180 mm suspension travel and 845 mm seat height while the Atlas GT is road-biased with 17-inch wheels, 140 mm travel and a lower 815 mm seat.
- A Bosch six-axis IMU runs a broad rider-aid suite including lean-sensitive ABS, cornering traction and cruise, wheelie and slide control, plus an 8-inch TFT with Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, navigation, GoPro control and OTA updates via the Norton Rider app.
- Norton will build the range at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur facility to avoid full import duties and pursue competitive India pricing, with an India launch expected later in 2026 and local price targets reported around Rs 6 lakh by some industry sources.
