Northlane Announce Seventh Album Anemoia and New Single 'CUT_it'

The band is pushing a trance-infused direction produced by Jordan Fish and will release the record through their band-linked independent label Immortal Music Group.

Overview

  • Northlane publicly unveiled Anemoia and the single 'CUT_it' on August 4, 2026, with the album set for release on October 30.
  • 'CUT_it' is framed by vocalist Marcus Bridge as a song about burnout that pairs a low-end, suffocating groove with explosive heavy moments.
  • The record was executive produced by Jordan Fish and grew out of guitarist Jon Deiley's interest in marrying trance and electronic textures with heavy guitars after seeing a set by UK DJ Evian Christ.
  • Anemoia’s 10-track list includes a guest spot from DAYSEEKER and will be released via Immortal Music Group, the independent company co-founded by Chris O’Brien and Northlane guitarist Josh Smith.
  • To support the album Northlane announced a November Australian headline tour with international and local support, and mid-August ticket pre-sale and general-sale windows were set by the band.
