Norfolk Woman Gets Three Years for Stabbing Estranged Husband After Dogs Were Put Down

A judge said the outburst stemmed from anger over the euthanised pets without premeditation.

  • He received life-threatening wounds and a neighbour who is a doctor gave immediate aid before emergency services arrived.
  • A jury in January cleared her of attempted murder after she admitted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
  • The victim told the court he now has symptoms of complex PTSD and said the attack tore the family apart.
