Noma Sets $1,500 Los Angeles Residency as Reservations Open Jan. 26

The price reflects the expense of bringing about 130 Copenhagen staff to a filmed Silver Lake run requiring full prepayment.

Noma will be using hyper-local ingredients for its Los Angeles residency.

Overview

  • The residency runs March 11–June 26 at an undisclosed Silver Lake address, which will be shared only with confirmed guests.
  • Bookings open at 9 a.m. PST on Jan. 26, with access links distributed to newsletter subscribers on Jan. 23.
  • Each $1,500 reservation includes the tasting menu, beverage pairing, service and tax, and must be paid in full at booking.
  • Service is limited to 42 guests per seating four nights a week, and diners must agree to on-site filming for a documentary project.
  • Noma will open a Noma Projects retail shop and undertake outreach including a nightly free table for hospitality workers 25 and under and a 1% bookings donation supporting training and school dinner programs with partners such as MAD, Brigaid and C-CAP.
