Overview
- The airport will begin commercial operations on June 15, with IndiGo confirmed as the launch carrier and Akasa scheduled to start flights on June 16, and airport officials expect international services to follow by the end of the year.
- Noida International Airport Ltd has secured day-one arrangements with app-based operators Mahindra Mobility, Uber, Ola and Rapido and built dedicated pickup and drop-off zones for taxi and bike bookings.
- Uttar Pradesh flagged off 45 electric buses and three hydrogen buses on June 12 and set a target to reach about 110 e-buses by June 15 with a longer-term goal of 500, but services will be phased in on routes starting around June 14–15 rather than all running from day one.
