Overview
- The Noida Authority board, meeting Monday, scrapped its 2021 restrictions and reopened registries, map approvals and occupancy certificates for all Sports City projects.
- The board cleared a revised layout for the 300-acre SC-02 site in Sector 150, enabling stalled construction and flat registrations to restart under the court order.
- Developers now have three years to finish the required sports facilities and five years to complete housing, with lost time counted as a zero period.
- For the three other sites, a consortium of realtors is drawing up revised plans that the authority says it will review once filed, which could unlock relief for an estimated 20,000 to 40,000 buyers.
- Central agencies, including the CBI and ED, are still probing alleged irregularities in the earlier scheme, even as administrative fixes move forward.
