Noctua Launches First AIO NL-LC1 Series With Prices From $219

The Computex debut signals Noctua's push into liquid cooling using Asetek's Emma V2 platform and layered pump soundproofing to prioritize very low noise.

Overview

  • The NL-LC1 lineup went on sale through retailer listings on June 16, 2026, with MSRPs of about $219 for 240mm, $249 for 360mm, and $279 for 420mm models.
  • Noctua built the coolers on Asetek's Emma V2 pump platform and added three-layer acoustic insulation, floating mounts and a tuned-mass damper to lower pump noise and vibration.
  • Each model ships with Noctua's own fans: the 240mm and 360mm use NF-A12x25 G2 120mm fans and the 420mm uses NF-A14x25 G2 140mm fans to balance airflow and quiet operation.
  • The company offers an optional NL-ACF1 auxiliary 80mm fan that swaps the pump faceplate to cool VRMs, RAM and M.2 SSDs, and Noctua showed it can cut VRM temps by roughly 40% in demos.
  • Early press praise centers on the acoustic engineering but reviewers flag the NL-LC1's premium price as the main downside and note independent thermal and long-term reliability tests are still pending.
