Overview
- Moon Studios announced on Tuesday that No Rest for the Wicked will leave Steam Early Access and release as version 1.0 on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 in October 2026.
- The 1.0 update will add more than 60 hours of new content, including 15+ hand‑crafted regions, a new horde mode, new weapons, enemies and bosses, a final story arc, and expanded endgame activities.
- Multiplayer will be persistent and cooperative for up to four players, with private realms that progress even when the realm creator is offline and full cross‑play and cross‑save between PC and PS5 at launch.
- Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are confirmed to be in development but will not ship with the October 1.0 release, a delay Moon Studios attributes in part to extra work required to optimise for the lower‑spec Series S.
- The game sold over 1.8 million copies during Early Access and Moon Studios is offering a limited Early Access Founder’s Pack for qualifying purchasers through July 10, 2026, which includes cosmetic items, an exclusive home, and access to a public beta test realm.
