No. 23 Princeton Rolls Past Penn 69-50, Extends Series Streak to 16

Olivia Hutcherson’s third-quarter burst flipped the game’s momentum and exposed Penn’s depth concerns.

Hutcherson finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and five steals, while Skye Belker hit four threes for 16 points and Madison St. Rose added 15 points with six assists.
After trailing 30-28 at halftime, Princeton put up 24 in the third quarter to build a nine-point cushion and then opened the fourth on an 11-3 run.
The Tigers improved to 19-2 overall and 7-1 in the Ivy League, moved to 9-1 at home, and have won 17 of their last 18 games.
Penn dropped to 13-8 and 3-5 in league play, with Mataya Gayle and Simone Sawyer scoring 16 apiece and Tina Njike grabbing 10 rebounds.
Head coach Mike McLaughlin noted Penn’s seniors remain winless against Princeton and said he will expand the guard rotation before trips to Cornell and Columbia.
