- The first wave of Star Fox–themed profile icons is now available to Nintendo Switch Online members and can be claimed through the Switch Online menu on the console home screen.
- Character icons cost 10 My Nintendo Platinum Points each while backgrounds and frames cost 5 points, and claimed icons remain in a user’s account even if their subscription lapses.
- Nintendo will issue additional icon waves on a weekly schedule through July 22, with regional timing differences for release windows.
- Platinum Points used to buy these items are the free reward currency earned via My Nintendo missions, so subscribers can obtain icons without spending money if they have accumulated points.
- The icons are a promotional tie-in to the new Star Fox release on Nintendo Switch 2 and follow Nintendo’s regular practice of issuing themed cosmetics around game launches.
