- Nintendo released version 1.7.0, which on Wednesday added two new Knockout Tour rallies called Drill Rally and Boomerang Rally.
- Players who have cleared at least one Knockout Tour rally can select the new Drill Rally that links Wario Shipyard to Bowser’s Castle and the Boomerang Rally that links Salty Salty Speedway to Whistlestop Summit.
- Photo Mode now lets players place collected stickers using touch, mouse, or Joy‑Con pointer and combine them with frames for custom images.
- The patch applies gameplay adjustments such as raised acceleration for low-acceleration characters, higher gliding speed for some characters and vehicles, fixes to Time Trials and multiple course bugs, and adds Thai language support in system settings.
- Nintendo confirmed more Knockout Tour routes will arrive in future free updates but did not add any brand-new standalone circuits, a choice that reshapes how players expect the game to expand going forward.
