Overview
- Nintendo released Version 1.6.0 that adds 130 tracks from Mario Kart World, totaling four hours and 13 minutes, to Nintendo Music for Switch Online members.
- The update also launched a web/desktop player plus dedicated tablet apps and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so users can play tracks from PCs, tablets, or car dashboards.
- New user features include playlist creation and sharing, a My Mix personalized playlist based on listening history, and voice search with Siri and in-car voice controls.
- Nintendo says some Mario Kart World content — the Free Roam/open-world tracks — will arrive in future updates and noted that preparing complex soundtracks takes additional time and work.
