Overview
- Nintendo has rolled out a new batch of compatibility fixes that restore or improve play for original Switch games on the Switch 2.
- Recent titles reported as patched include Buddy Collection if, Dragon Quest Builders, Laysara: Summit Kingdom, Monster Hunter Stories, Neon Inferno, Overcooked! All You Can Eat, This Is Fine: Maximum Cope, Top Cop: Police Training, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
- A small number of games show concrete technical problems on Switch 2 such as progression-blocking bugs in Ghost Master: Resurrection’s Walls of Judgment DLC, slowdown in Grandia HD Collection, and audio glitches in Resident Evil 5.
- Nintendo currently lists Attack on Titan 2, Crypt Carnage, Megadimension Neptunia VII, and Truck Simulator USA as unsupported on Switch 2 because they fail in ways that block normal progress.
- Backwards compatibility maintenance is an ongoing, multi-month effort that has slowed since launch and may require more patches from Nintendo or cooperation with third-party developers to restore additional titles.
