- Nintendo's Download, which published Sept. 3, lists Orbitals and Moonlighter 2 as available now and several Switch 2 retail and digital titles slated to arrive Sept. 4.
- Onimusha: Way of the Sword and NBA 2K27 are confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 release on Sept. 4, with Onimusha pre-orders open now on the Nintendo eShop.
- Nintendo is running a Blockbuster Sale through Sept. 9 at 11:59 p.m. PT offering discounts across Switch and Switch 2 digital games to coincide with multiple new launches.
- Pikmin 3 Deluxe received a free Switch 2-optimized update that improves visuals for the console and high-resolution TVs and adds a two-player Bingo Battle mode playable locally or online via GameChat.
- Nintendo added NES classics to Switch Online this week and the Download lists staggered eShop releases through Sept. 9, including Jenny LeClue (Sept. 7), Mewgenics (Sept. 8) and Valheim (Sept. 9).
