- Nintendo announced the plans during its June 9 Nintendo Direct, confirming Switch 2 upgrade editions for Xenoblade Chronicles 1, 2, and 3 and unveiling Xenoblade Genesis as a Switch 2 exclusive.
- Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition’s Switch 2 upgrade is available digitally now with a physical release on July 30, 2026, while Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s digital upgrade is scheduled for July 30, 2026 and a physical release on October 1, 2026.
