- Nintendo confirmed on Sept. 10 that Valheim and Mewgenics are available now on Nintendo Switch 2 through the eShop with Switch 2–optimized support such as Joy‑Con 2 mouse controls and HD rumble 2.
- A free Mario Kart World update, version 1.8.0, is live and adds courses inspired by the original Super Mario Kart, two new Knockout Tour routes and a Spectator Mode for Online and LAN play.
- Nintendo Switch Online members can download and play a full trial of EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 on Switch 2 at no extra cost through Sept. 15, and any save data carries over if the game is purchased.
- Pre-orders are open now for several upcoming releases including LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight (Sept. 18) and FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE (Oct. 22), while a large slate of titles is slated to arrive mainly on Sept. 16.
- Nintendo also rolled out new Nintendo Music releases and soundtrack drops, reflecting a broader push to pair game launches with music and promotional content to drive storefront activity.
