Nike Unveils Studio Fleece as New Everyday-Athlete Uniform

Nike says a consumer-driven system and a colorfast 'Total Black' dye are meant to boost durability and help revive Nike Sportswear performance.

Overview

  • Nike launched Studio Fleece for women and a men's Solo Fleece counterpart with immediate availability online and at select wholesalers across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa and a wider global roll‑out starting Sept. 1.
  • The line was developed from feedback by more than 300 women and is offered in two fits and three weights across staple silhouettes such as crewnecks, quarter‑zips, hoodies, shorts and sweatpants.
  • Nike says its new 'Total Black' dye recipe delivers deeper black with color fastness that will hold for at least 30 washes and the collection includes refined hoods, trims and a Lyon blue label to mark the system.
  • Retail prices range from $60 to $95 and the launch is supported by a campaign featuring athletes and cultural figures including Alysa Liu, Sha'Carri Richardson, Yeat, Moses Itauma, Lauren James and Reece James.
  • The release is positioned as part of Nike chief executive Elliott Hill's push to tighten inventory and lift sell‑through in Nike Sportswear and Jordan streetwear, with the staged roll‑out meant to test demand before broader distribution.
