Overview
- A deal announced Tuesday places Hamilton in EXCELR8/Team VERTU’s Hyundai i30 Fastback N with Draper Tools backing that is contracted through 2027.
- He joins 2025 drivers’ champion Tom Ingram and race winner Tom Chilton at the squad that also secured last year’s manufacturers’ title with the Hyundai.
- After testing the car at Snetterton, he will unveil the Draper Tools livery at the Brands Hatch season launch before the Donington Park opener on April 18–19.
- Hamilton has 160 BTCC starts since 2015 and a best finish of sixth at Donington Park in 2023.
- The adapted‑controls racer, the only disabled driver in BTCC history, says the move ends years of budget‑limited outings by giving him a truly competitive package.
