Overview
- The National Investigation Agency filed a supplementary chargesheet on June 27 that adds Zameer Ahmad Ahanger, Tufail Ahmad Bhat and absconding paediatrician Muzafar Ahmad, bringing the total accused in the probe to 13.
- Muzafar Ahmad is described by the NIA as a founding member of the AGuH Interim module and one of the principal architects of the November 10, 2025 vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) blast that killed 11 people.
- The agency says Muzafar was involved in manufacture, testing and storage of TATP-based improvised explosives at a clandestine facility linked to Al-Falah University and has issued a non-bailable warrant as teams work to arrest him.
- Zameer is accused of acting as an overground worker who couriered arms, cash and ammunition while Tufail is accused of procuring weapons through dead-drop networks and supplying them to the module; both face terror charges in court.
- The NIA says it linked suspects through forensic testing, geo-location mapping and financial-trail analysis and the expanded chargesheet widens an inter-state inquiry that could shape further arrests and the trial process.
