- Organizers publicly released the 2026 lineup and partial schedule in mid‑July, with presales set to start July 15 at 11 a.m. ET and general public sales on July 20 at 11 a.m. ET.
- The festival will run Nov. 6 through Nov. 15 across all five boroughs, presenting more than 100 shows that feature over 200 comedians.
- Headliners include Marc Maron, Ilana Glazer, Sarah Sherman, Ms. Pat, Daniel Sloss, Ziwe and Jordan Klepper, among others listed in the initial slate.
- For the first time NYCF will host Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch as a live showcase on Nov. 12, and the schedule mixes stand‑up, live podcast recordings, improv, screenings and panels at venues such as Beacon Theatre, Town Hall and Carnegie Hall.
- The festival is backed by a broad sponsor group including NBC + Peacock, Bread Financial and iHeartRadio, and organizers say additional shows and special events such as Stand Up for Heroes will be announced in the coming weeks.
