New TTD Executive Officer Ravi Chandra Takes Charge, Begins On-Ground Review at Tirumala

The move follows a CBI-led SIT inquiry that the state says faults his predecessor over alleged adulterated ghee.

  • He succeeds Anil Kumar Singhal, whom the TDP-led government says was named by a CBI-led SIT for approving tender conditions that led to adulterated ghee used for Tirupati laddu.
  • On Saturday, the new EO visited the Annaprasadam complex, dined with devotees, and gathered feedback on food quality and service.
  • He inspected the food and water testing lab, outside queue lines and the Integrated Command Centre, reviewed crowd and traffic systems, and suggested upgrades to pilgrim amenities.
