New Signage and Access Changes as 'Zootopia: Better Zoogether' Nears Nov. 7 Debut at Animal Kingdom

Visible barriers and new signs mark the final phase of work at the Tree of Life.

Overview

  • Zootopia: Better Zoogether opens November 7 in the Tree of Life theater, replacing It’s Tough to Be a Bug after its March closure.
  • Crews have installed a Zootopia-branded marquee plus entrance and exit signs, some still under scrim, while repainting and treating wood at the tree’s base.
  • Several viewing areas and pathways around the Tree of Life are temporarily blocked by construction walls and rolling planters as queue and exit areas are finished.
  • The Wilderness Explorers Clubhouse has closed with Dug and Russell relocated behind the Tree of Life, and their former spot is reportedly being reworked for a Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde meet-and-greet that Disney has not confirmed.
  • A new covered structure is being built along the exit path with its purpose unannounced, and the show is confirmed to be included in Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
