New CCTV Images Released in Hunt for Red-Gloved Burglary Gang Across Two Counties

Detectives aim to generate new leads after linking more than 30 break-ins across Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

Overview

  • West Mercia Police published stills from an Abberley burglary earlier this month to help identify the offenders.
  • More than 30 residential burglaries between November 2025 and January 2026 are being treated as linked across the two counties.
  • Suspects seen wearing distinctive red gloves and covering their faces are believed to be white males in their late teens or early twenties, with a black BMW potentially connected.
  • High-value jewellery and cash have been stolen from homes in areas including Ross-on-Wye, Much Marcle, Wellington Heath, Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern, Evesham, Pershore, Redditch, Abberley and Ledbury.
  • Police are collating CCTV, conducting house-to-house enquiries and liaising with neighbouring forces, and they urge tips via Crimestoppers or DI Dave Knight’s team, with 999 for crimes in progress.
