Netflix’s 'Perfecta' Casts Sabrina Cortez to Portray Silvina Luna in Reenactments

The casting update arrives as a rescheduled forensic medical board is set for Sept. 1 to determine whether practitioner Aníbal Lotocki’s treatments helped cause Luna’s death.

Overview

  • Multiple Argentine outlets reported Tuesday that Sabrina Cortez, a former Gran Hermano contestant, has been hired to physically represent Silvina Luna in non-speaking dramatized scenes and has reportedly signed and recorded her parts.
  • The Netflix series Perfecta: la voz de Silvina Luna is being assembled from unreleased videos and voice recordings Luna made before her death and is directed by Nico Petrich with an estimated mid-2027 release.
  • The Ministerio Público Fiscal postponed the planned junta médica and set a new session for Sept. 1 where official and party-appointed experts will answer an 11-point questionnaire about treatments, PMMA links and clinical follow-up.
  • The medical board’s findings are expected to be a crucial technical basis for the Fiscalía and the court as they decide whether to attribute legal responsibility to Lotocki in the causation or homicide inquiry.
  • The project is presented as Luna’s own warning about cosmetic surgery risks and the choice of a non-actor for reenactments has drawn attention for the questions it raises about authenticity and how the series will balance archive testimony with dramatization.
