Netflix Confirms Korean Crime Thriller 'Paper Man' Starring Cho Jung-seok, Park Hae-soo and Claudia Kim

  • Netflix announced that production has begun on Paper Man (working title) and confirmed Cho Jung-seok, Park Hae-soo and Claudia Kim as the three leads.
  • The series follows Cha Myung-jo, a maker of imitation character stickers who accidentally produces a near-perfect counterfeit bill and is pulled into a dangerous criminal world.
  • Park Hae-soo will play Oh Seung-eop, the First Deputy Director of the Korea Mint’s Anti-Counterfeiting Division who pursues Myung-jo, while Claudia Kim plays Ko Hye-seok, Myung-jo’s elite-judge wife.
  • Lee Il-hyung, director of Karma and A Violent Prosecutor, is directing the series, reuniting him with Park Hae-soo and continuing his focus on morally complex crime stories.
  • The title remains a working title and Netflix says the show is expected to premiere later in 2026 with episode count and a specific release date to be announced.
