Netanyahu’s Office Publishes Medical Report Confirming No Prostate Cancer

The physician-signed update follows years without a comprehensive public health briefing.

Overview

  • Netanyahu is receiving antibiotics for a urinary tract infection that developed after prostate surgery in December.
  • Routine measures and labs, including blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, blood counts, and liver and kidney function, are reported within normal ranges.
  • Cardiac follow-up after a July 2023 pacemaker implantation shows no arrhythmias and no activity restrictions, according to Prof. Roy Beinart.
  • Doctors report the prostate tissue removed on December 29 was benign, following an April 2024 hernia repair and a pre-op CT that noted an enlarged prostate, small bladder stones, and bladder obstruction.
  • The report is signed by Dr. Tzvi Herman Berkowitz, Prof. Alon Pikarsky, and Prof. Ehud Grossman, and notes that recent colonoscopy screening was normal.
