Nepal Embassy Invites Indian Influencers for Sponsored Familiarisation Trip

The campaign seeks to boost Indian tourist arrivals by commissioning five creators to produce travel content, with applications open now and final travel dates to be announced later.

Overview

  • The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi posted the call for applications on May 20, 2026, inviting Indian influencers, vloggers and podcasters to apply for a sponsored familiarisation tour of Nepal.
  • Applicants must be Indian nationals or creators based in India and submit social profiles, work samples, audience analytics and content proposals by email before the May 30, 2026 deadline.
  • The embassy will select five creators who will be expected to produce multi-format content such as Instagram reels, YouTube vlogs, podcasts and short videos that highlight Nepal’s culture, pilgrimage, adventure and wellness offerings.
  • Entries will be judged on creativity, storytelling, content quality, audience reach and digital impact; shortlisted candidates will be notified and the final itinerary and travel dates will be shared at a later stage.
  • The programme uses the familiarisation-trip model to generate authentic, audience-specific promotion for Nepal and could help revive arrivals from India by leveraging creators who speak English, Hindi or regional languages and focus on travel, spirituality, food or wellness.
