NEET UG 2026 Registration Closes March 8 With Correction Window From March 10

A short correction window follows before the May 3 pen-and-paper exam.

Overview

  • Candidates must submit applications by March 8 up to 9 pm, with fee payment due the same day by 11:50 pm; fees are Rs 1,700 (General), Rs 1,600 (General-EWS/OBC-NCL), and Rs 1,000 (SC/ST/PwBD/third gender) for centres in India.
  • The National Testing Agency will open the application correction window from March 10 to March 12 for permitted edits.
  • Applicants must follow NTA’s image rules to avoid rejection, including a recent colour photo on a white or light background in JPG/JPEG (10–200 KB) and a clear signature in black ink on white paper in JPG/JPEG (4–30 KB).
  • The exam is scheduled on May 3 from 2 pm to 5 pm in pen-and-paper mode and will be offered in 13 languages.
  • NEET (UG) 2026 scores will be used for admissions to MBBS, BDS, BVSc & AH, AYUSH courses and BHMS, including selection for MNS BSc Nursing, as candidates review NIRF 2025 lists that place AIIMS New Delhi at No. 1.
