Nebraska Starter Berke Buyuktuncel Commits to Vanderbilt Through Transfer Portal

Former Nebraska forward Berke Buyuktuncel committed to Vanderbilt through the transfer portal, according to reports citing On3, and he has one season of eligibility left.
He becomes Vanderbilt’s first reported incoming transfer after five Commodores entered the portal this offseason.
The 6-foot-10 starter logged 33 starts for Nebraska last season and averaged 6.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 46.8% from the field.
He scored 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting against Vanderbilt in the NCAA Tournament and posted the game’s top offensive rating per KenPom.
Nebraska, which lost Buyuktuncel from its starting lineup, has reportedly added transfers Kadyn Betts and Trevan Leonhardt.
