Overview
- NCSoft, which announced the plan Tuesday, will release Aion 2 worldwide on PC later in 2026.
- The sequel will be offered on Steam and on NCSoft’s own Purple launcher, with a build made specifically for PC.
- Official servers will run locally in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan to cut latency for those regions.
- Players will be able to choose from 10 in-game languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
- More details are due in May as the team plans direct Q&A with the community, and players can wishlist on Steam or join the newsletter now; the 2025 regional launch drew praise for visuals but criticism of monetization, and NCSoft says early botting was largely resolved.
