NBEMS Releases NEET MDS 2026 Merit Lists

Qualified candidates can now move forward to state and central counselling to seek MDS seats.

Overview

  • The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences published the NEET MDS 2026 merit lists on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, as downloadable PDFs on natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.
  • NBEMS posted two merit‑list PDFs: an overall rank list and a separate list for candidates eligible under the All‑India 50% quota, while individual scorecards will be issued later through the candidate login portal.
  • The exam was held on May 2, 2026, and comprised 240 multiple‑choice questions in two parts with a three‑hour duration, scored +4 for each correct answer and −1 for each incorrect answer for a maximum of 960 marks.
  • Qualification requires statutory percentiles (General/EWS 50th, SC/ST/OBC 40th, UR PwD 45th); NBEMS has set ordered tie‑break rules and has stated there will be no re‑evaluation, re‑checking, or re‑totalling requests.
  • Candidates should download and verify their merit‑list entries, note category cutoffs and tie‑break details, and await counselling schedules from state and central admission authorities because the result is valid only for the 2026 admission session.
