- NBC announced the new series that will be billed as The Voice: Celebrity on Tuesday, Aug. 4, and production is underway for a spring 2027 launch.
- Keke Palmer has been confirmed as the on-camera host of the celebrity edition and has publicly posted that she will lead the show.
- Joe Jonas, Queen Latifah and Riley Green are the coaches attached to the celebrity season and will guide actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, comedians and reality stars competing for a champion title.
- Carson Daly posted that he is not leaving the franchise, will serve as a producer on the spinoff, and will continue to host the main series when Season 30 premieres this fall on Sept. 21.
- The Voice: Celebrity keeps Blind Auditions and Battles but adds new segments called Voice Boot Camp, a VIP Room and a Workroom to show behind-the-scenes preparation and interactions among famous contestants.
