- The NBA released a partial schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 11, confirming an Oct. 20 opening-day NBC/Peacock tripleheader that will feature LeBron James’ Philadelphia 76ers debut at Madison Square Garden.
- Opening day will begin unusually early with Boston at Detroit at 3:00 p.m. ET, followed by 76ers at Knicks at 7:00 p.m. ET and Thunder at Spurs at 9:30 p.m. ET, all on NBC/Peacock.
