- Guwahati’s Terminal 2 was praised for a Bamboo Orchid–inspired, biophilic design that weaves local craft, indigenous motifs and sustainability into the passenger experience.
- Both terminals are operated by Adani Airport Holdings Limited and company and local officials publicly welcomed the recognition as validation of their focus on design, functionality and environmental features.
- Prix Versailles, an annual architecture prize announced at UNESCO headquarters, will select three World Titles from the 2026 shortlist later this year which could further elevate winning terminals.
