Natural Raises $30M Series A to Build Payments Stack for AI Agents

The funding backs a roadmap of FDIC‑insured wallets plus agent-focused payment tools designed to let autonomous AI systems hold and move money.

Overview

  • Natural, which closed a $30 million Series A led by Kirsten Green at Forerunner on Monday, said it has moved six products into general availability to support agent-driven payments.
  • The six live products are Wallets, Vaults, Pay, Request, Transfer and Connect, with Wallets holding customer deposits that are FDIC‑insured through bank partner Column N.A.
  • Natural says it builds core primitives directly—ledgering, multi‑bank settlement, multi‑currency movement, fraud and compliance controls, and agent identity and observability—to let agents transact safely without acting as a bank.
  • The company published a near‑term roadmap that it says will add Voice, Accept and Cards in the coming months and plans to launch Charge, Credit, Direct and Billing in Q4 2026.
  • Natural is an early, fast‑scaling fintech with about 17 employees that is hiring aggressively, and investors see the raise as a bet that agentic payments will create new infrastructure demand that could reshape how commerce is conducted online.
