- Capital Concerts announced Monday that the 37th National Memorial Day Concert will air live May 24 from 8 to 9:30 p.m. ET on PBS from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
- The program will also stream on YouTube and PBS.org and be available on demand from May 24 through June 7, with American Forces Network carrying it for service members worldwide.
- Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise will host a lineup that ties the nation's 250th year to tributes for the American Revolution, the 85th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, the 25th remembrance of 9/11, Vietnam veterans, and Gold Star families.
- Performers set to appear include Noah Wyle, Melissa Leo, Jonathan Banks, Mickey Guyton, Jamey Johnson, Alan Jackson, Laura Osnes, Andy Grammer, Mary McCormack, Blessing Offor, and the National Symphony Orchestra led by Jack Everly.
- The concert will feature a Salute to Services with the Joint Chiefs of Staff plus U.S. military ensembles and color teams, and it is co-produced by Capital Concerts and WETA with support from Lockheed Martin, the Horatio Alger Association, federal grants, PBS, and American Airlines.
