Overview
- National Airlines received its first Boeing 777-200F freighter at Boeing’s Everett, Washington factory during a delivery event attended by customers, partners, and senior Boeing leaders.
- The company said three more 777-200F jets will arrive in the coming months as it builds out a new long-haul cargo fleet.
- National also disclosed orders for four Boeing 777 freighters that are slated to join the operation in the near term.
- The airline says the 777-200F brings greater range, lower fuel use, and higher payload to support growth across its global cargo network.
- The U.S. carrier now pairs the new type with a fleet that includes nine 747-400 freighters and three A330 passenger jets while offering on-demand charters to more than 450 airports worldwide.
