NASCAR Names 2027 Hall of Fame Class: Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Larry Phillips

A 50-member panel with PwC oversight chose the class after an in-person vote in Charlotte.

  • Announced Tuesday, NASCAR’s Class of 2027 will induct Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Larry Phillips, with Lesa France Kennedy receiving the Landmark Award.
  • The selections came from a 50-member voting panel that included industry leaders, Hall members, media, manufacturers, competitors, the reigning Cup champion and one combined fan vote, with PwC tabulating results.
  • Vote totals released by NASCAR showed Harvick at 92% on the Modern Era ballot, Burton at 32%, and Phillips at 38% on the Pioneer ballot, and Harvick appeared on 46 of 50 ballots in his first year of eligibility.
  • Harvick is a 60-time Cup winner and the 2014 champion, Burton earned 21 Cup wins and is known as a drivers’ advocate and TV analyst, and Phillips won five NASCAR Weekly Series national titles with an estimated 1,000-plus short-track victories.
  • The induction ceremony is set for Jan. 22, 2027 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Charlotte Convention Center, and tickets go on sale June 10 on nascarhall.com.
