- NASA announced MAX POWER on Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, and set the two-day public expo and airshow for Nov. 7–8 at and near Kennedy Space Center.
- Programming confirmed by NASA includes an air show with NASA aircraft and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, a speaker series with Apollo and Artemis astronauts, special exhibits and behind-the-gates bus tours of Kennedy facilities.
- The event will run across Kennedy Space Center sites such as the Shuttle Landing Facility, the Apollo Saturn V Center and the Vehicle Assembly Building while some activities occur at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
- NASA named external collaborators including Air Dot Show, Delaware North, Space Florida, Purpose Entertainment and UP.Summit, and has opened ticketing links with a media RSVP deadline of 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
- Organizers say the family-focused expo aims to pair historic NASA hardware with next-generation aircraft, spacecraft and autonomous systems to boost public engagement, local tourism on Florida’s Space Coast and interest in STEM careers.
