Overview

Naraku interrupted a televised contract signing in the Performance Center parking lot and set the NXT Title contract on fire while producing a fireball that struck Tony D’Angelo’s face.
The attack sent D’Angelo out of the arena in an ambulance during the broadcast and he later returned the same night with bandages over his face.
After the attack Naraku demanded NXT general manager Robert Stone hand over the belt and be declared champion during the on-screen segment.
WWE confirmed the NXT championship match between Naraku and Tony D’Angelo remains scheduled for the upcoming Great American Bash on The CW.
