Overview
- The statewide quantum skilling programme has drawn more than 50,000 registrations, with women making up about half, and top performers promised advanced training and internships with institutions such as IBM, TCS, CSIR and C-DAC.
- Andhra Pradesh is delivering the training with external partners including WISER and Qubitech, and the launch featured participation by senior officials from the Department of Science and Technology and directors of IIT Madras and IIT Tirupati.
- Naidu set a goal to start producing quantum computers in Amaravati within two years and to establish a complete manufacturing supply chain, positioning the city as a leading global hub.
