• Local reporting and editorials say raised or misaligned roads, blocked or narrowed nullahs, unfinished pipeline and road works, and low‑quality patch repairs choked drainage and worsened flooding.
• Narendra Nagar, Manish Nagar, Besa, Rajnagar, Jai Durga Layout, Swalambi Nagar, Loha Pul and Karve Nagar were repeatedly flooded or rendered impassable, leaving many residents stranded and vehicles submerged.
