Mysuru Realtor Rescued; Police Arrest Five in Overnight Kidnapping

Lokesh, a finance and real estate businessman from Vijayanagar, was rescued unharmed within hours of being abducted on December 6.
Five suspects, including alleged mastermind Santosh, were arrested in K R Nagar after police formed multiple teams and set a trap.
Investigators say chilli powder was thrown into Lokesh’s eyes before he was forced into a hired Tata Sumo.
Ransom calls to a friend sought Rs 15–20 lakh, while the victim’s wife alerted police when his phone went off and he did not return home.
Police traced the suspects toward Hampapura using call data, CCTV and other technical evidence, then moved in to recover the victim and detain the group.
