MyRadl Bike Share Launches May 7 Across the MVV Region

Nextbike will run a 24/7, app-based system with stations across city and county lines.

Overview

  • MyRadl, which opens Thursday, May 7, will have more than 2,000 bikes in participating towns by Friday morning with about 700 in Munich.
  • The full network is planned for roughly 1,000 pickup points and about 6,700 to 6,800 bikes, including classic models and e-bikes.
  • Riders register once in the MVV, MVGO or nextbike app, then rent and return bikes at any designated station at any time of day.
  • Fares start at €1 per 30 minutes for a standard bike and €3 for an e-bike, with day rates of €9 and €18 and discounts for MVV ticket holders and MVG subscribers.
  • Local rollouts are set, with Olching getting 50 muscle-powered bikes this spring across eight stations where returns can be made at any of them.
