- On Friday the Maha Vikas Aghadi finalised allocations for 15 of the 17 Legislative Council seats, giving Congress eight seats, Shiv Sena (UBT) four and NCP (SP) three.
- The MVA has left Nanded and Nashik unresolved with all three partners staking claims and said it will settle those two seats within two days.
- Ruling Mahayuti talks remain unfinished and sources say the BJP is likely to take 10–11 seats with Shinde’s Shiv Sena and the Pawar‑led NCP taking the remainder, a split party leaders expect to finalise by Saturday.
- Maharashtra Congress chief Harshwardhan Sapkal has accused the BJP and its allies of using money power to poach corporators, alleging advance payments of around Rs 5 lakh to sway votes.
