Overview

  • Marvelous and Vanillaware announced Muramasa: Revenant Blades on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and set an early 2027 launch for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam.
  • The build consolidates Muramasa Rebirth and the Genroku Legends add‑on so all six protagonist storylines are included and playable from the start.
  • The release is upgraded for modern hardware with support for up to 4K, an all‑new English voiceover and localization, new modes, and reported adjustments to combat and weapon systems.
  • Physical preorders and MSRPs were revealed for standard and Limited Editions, with platform-specific pricing differences and a Limited Edition that includes an art book, a curated Basiscape soundtrack CD, and a byōbu folding screen.
  • This is Vanillaware’s first confirmed PC release, giving PC players access to a key title and potentially paving the way for future PC ports of the studio’s catalog.
