Overview

  • Marvelous and Vanillaware announced the title on Tuesday, June 9, and set an early 2027 launch window without a firm release date.
  • The game will appear on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC (Steam), marking the first time a Vanillaware game is officially released for Windows.
  • Revenant Blades combines Muramasa: Rebirth and the Genroku Legends add-on into one package with support for up to 4K resolution, a new English localization with voiceover, redesigned combat and weapon systems, plus additional modes.
  • Physical standard editions are priced at $49.99 for PS5 and Switch and $59.99 for Switch 2 while Limited Editions carrying an art book, a Basiscape soundtrack CD and a 10×14" byōbu folding screen are listed at $89.99 and $99.99; digital pricing and a precise date are still to be announced.
