- Munich is kicking off a new series of late-opening shopping nights in the city center as the first of four events this year.
- More than 50 Altstadt stores are taking part, including Hugendubel, Ludwig Beck and Galeria am Marienplatz.
- Most participating shops plan to stay open until 22:00 with select parking garages offering one free hour after 20:00.
- Shops are adding draws such as live music and tastings, and comic artists will appear at the newly opened comic shop in the Rathaus.
- Organizers scheduled three additional shopping nights later in the year, expanding what had been a single annual event.
