Overview
- On Monday, October 19, 2026, MUNA’s tour bus caught fire on southbound I-5 near Buena Vista Street in Burbank, a scene captured in KTLA helicopter footage and shared by the band.

- The California Highway Patrol and Burbank Fire Department responded, temporarily closing lanes and creating a morning commute backup while crews put out the blaze.
- Guitarist Josette Maskin publicly thanked the Burbank Fire Department and Naomi McPherson, who recently took time off to care for her terminally ill mother, made a later offbeat social-media comment referencing a “warlock” curse.
- MUNA is on the Gets So Hot Tour supporting the album Dancing on the Wall and no official statement about cancelling or rescheduling upcoming shows has been released.
