Railway officials call the work essential for safety, urging commuters to plan journeys.

Overview

  • Western Railway will hold a four-hour jumbo block from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm between Ram Mandir and Borivali on the Up Fast and fifth lines, diverting Up Fast trains to the sixth line and operating fifth-line trains on the Down Fast line.

  • Central Railway has cancelled the separate DFCCIL-linked Kharbao midnight block, while Western Railway has closed Naigaon’s North FOB for about 45 days from February 14 with alternate FOBs and a subway available.
